Come party on Saturday night with Jonathon Long with Paul Urban and Friends on the Main Stage! (Ticketed event)
What would the music world be like if we lost the innovators, the musical risk seekers, musicians that change the game and lift the bar higher & higher? Jonathon "Boogie" Long is just that. There is nothing stagnate about his art. The guitar pours just as effortlessly as the soul of his voice and the depth of his lyrics throughout the recording. On this self-titled release Jonathon covers the Soul Blues Rock spectrum. You get the burning guitar, pristine vocals, but above all you get 11 songs qualifying him as one of the most prolific writers on the scene. “Immediately I felt the songs cut straight to your soul. He’s got a fiery command of the guitar that leaves everyone mystified.” producer Samantha Fish.
“His evolution from gospel to blues to the whole spectrum of Southern-inspired music is a delight to experience.” – OffBeat Magazine
“He is the ringmaster, trapeze artist and human cannonball of a live blues-rock circus” --Country Roads Magazine
