The 1st Annual "Live +Local Music and Arts Festival is an exciting fundraiser which will be held on Sat, June 15th from 2pm-11pm at The Vanguard. Featured will be 9 local bands representing various genres of music, including Modern Gospel, Country, Reggae, Punk Rock, Rock and Blues. These bands: Keep the Promise, Wild Virginia Ginger, Eric Insley, Cultivated Mind, Flips Of Fury, The Cole Wilder Gang, HARDWIRE, Settle Down Jack and In Layman Terms are all in for these two local charities to support underprivileged children on the Southside and on the Peninsula: forkids.org and soundscapes.org . Come out to support this great cause that is close our hearts. Also there will be Magic by Scott Wagoner, as well as the great guitART works of Eric Worden and the great paintings of Ernest Flores! There will also be some local special guests that will be performing. Items will be auctioned for charity, as well as door prizes!
